فراخوان مقاله برای سالنامه بالکان: حقوق اروپا و حقوق بین‌الملل

Balkan Yearbook of European and International Law publishes blind peer-reviewed scholarly articles, as well as notes, comments and book reviews on private and public aspects of European and International Law. In addition, the BYEIL contains summaries and analysis of recent decisions by national and international courts and arbitral or other tribunals.

The call for papers for the second issue of Balkans Yearbook of European and International Law for 2020 is open until 1 May 2020.

The two permanent sections on European Law and International law are focused on recent developments in these highly dynamic and developing areas and are intended to serve as a forum for scholarly discourse on these topics from the South-East European perspective. This being said, the BYEIL is not exclusive in that regard: contributions from any other perspective are also strongly encouraged and welcomed.

Besides the two standard sections, the third section of the BYEIL volume in 2020 is devoted to “40 years of CISG”. There is no doubt that the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is one of the most successful multilateral treaties. Its success of attracting 93 State Parties of various legal traditions and levels of economic development has at the same time been its curse because of the difficulty in achieving its uniform interpretation. Its aptness to promote the needs of the contemporary commercial transactions by providing sufficient legal certainty and cost-efficiency is constantly being discussed on a worldwide scale. Besides this traditional issue, there is a plethora of other CISG-related issues brought about by new technological developments, business models and global political circumstances.
