This article examines the transformative impact of art on peacebuilding through philosophical, cultural, and aesthetic perspectives. It argues that art serves as a conduit for reconciliation, healing, and ethical clarity, engaging emotional and symbolic faculties often neglected in political discourse. Drawing on case studies from Iran and theories by Herbert, Carroll, and Kristeller, the article demonstrates how artistic expression, through narrative, form, and gesture, cultivates empathy and moral imagination. Zbigniew Herbert's poem "The Power of Taste" is analyzed as a philosophical manifesto of aesthetic resistance, offering a vision of integrity grounded not in ideology but in the quiet refusal of ugliness and lies. The conclusion emphasizes that peace is not merely a political arrangement; it is a fundamental aspect of human existence.
