The main research question examines how security discourses in Europe have redefined and represented migration—originally a socio-economic issue—as an existential threat. The central hypothesis of the article holds that this representation is not an objective reflection of reality but rather the outcome of deliberate discursive practices. The study adopts a qualitative research methodology grounded in the theoretical framework of the Copenhagen School and securitization theory. Accordingly, it analyzes the role of key securitizing actors, including politicians, far-right parties, and the media, as well as the referent objects portrayed as being under threat, such as national identity, the economy, social stability, and internal security. The article aims to demonstrate that the securitization of migration has significant implications for migrants’ rights and European Union policymaking, and it highlights the need for critical rethinking of dominant approaches to security and migration in contemporary international relations. این مقاله به تبیین ابعاد گوناگون فرایند امنیتی‌سازی مهاجرت در اروپا می‌پردازد، که در دهه‌های اخیر به‌طور چشمگیری بر گفتمان‌های سیاسی و اجتماعی این قاره اثرگذار بوده و مهاجرت را از یک پدیده عادی اجتماعی به موضوعی مناقشه‌برانگیز بدل ساخته است. سوال اصلی پژوهش آن است که گفتمان‌های امنیتی در اروپا چگونه مهاجرت، به‌عنوان مساله‌ای اجتماعی ـ اقتصادی، را در قالب یک تهدید وجودی بازتعریف و بازنمایی کرده‌اند؟ فرضیه اصلی مقاله بر این اساس استوار است که این بازنمایی نه بازتابی عینی از واقعیت، بلکه نتیجه کنش‌های گفتمانی هدفمند است. روش تحقیق کیفی و مبتنی بر چارچوب نظری مکتب کپنهاگ و نظریه امنیتی‌سازی است که طی آن نقش کنشگران امنیتی‌ساز اصلی همچون سیاستمداران، احزاب راست افراطی و رسانه‌ها و نیز ابژه‌های ارجاعی معرفی‌شده به‌عنوان در معرض تهدید، از جمله هویت ملی، اقتصاد، ثبات اجتماعی و امنیت داخلی، بررسی می‌شود. هدف مقاله نشان دادن این است که امنیتی‌سازی مهاجرت پیامدهای قابل توجهی برای حقوق مهاجران و سیاست‌گذاری‌های اتحادیه اروپا به همراه داشته و ضرورت بازاندیشی انتقادی در رویکردهای مسلط به امنیت و مهاجرت در روابط بین‌الملل معاصر را برجسته می‌سازد. https://www.isjq.ir/article_246047_073bbbe161fdce217b1c325d54f226e1.pdf
