In the Middle East, two powerful institution including state and tradition are the main obstacles toward the ratifications of human rights conventions. The ambiguity of human rights refers to the definition of this expression. The Middle East governments are not interested in making a clear definition of human rights. This ambiguity is one of the reasons the Middle Eastern governments can violate the rights of their peoples. Furthermore, various Middle Eastern academics support the violation of human rights. The issue of proportionality, double personalities and government intervention in university courses and the confirmation of government officials in the meeting with the governors are other main obstacle toward human rights in Middle East. شناخت مصداق‌های تقویت و تضعیف حقوق بشر و نیز ارائه تعریفی روشن از آن سبب می‌شوند تا حقوق بشر در خاورمیانه هم دست‌یافتنی باشند. در منطقه خاورمیانه، دو نهاد قدرتمند دولت و سنت سبب‌ساز آن شده‌اند تا کنوانسیون‌های منطقه‌ای حقوق بشر در خاورمیانه اساساً شکل نگیرند و نیز کشورهای منطقه متعهد به کنوانسیون‌های بین‌المللی حقوق بشر نباشند. ابهام در تعریف مفهوم حقوق بشر در منطقه خاورمیانه، مقاومت دولت‌های اقتدارگرای خاورمیانه در برابر استانداردهای حقوق بشر و همیاری سنت‌های خرافی و ظالمانه سبب شده‌اند تا دولت‌های منطقه، حقوق ملت‌های خود را نقض کنند. وانگهی شخصیت روان‌پریش بخشی از جامعه دانشگاهی منطقه که تأیید تریبونی و تکذیب کلاسی را در پیش گرفته است نیز به ناکارآمدی حقوق بشر در منطقه خاورمیانه منجر شده است. https://www.isjq.ir/article_222446_9c2b86a4a1f1945e0dcd6ca0f9277b52.pdf
